Affiliate Merchant Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Community Card Affiliate’s Participating Merchant Terms and Conditions page. By joining Community Card Affiliate’s Gift Card Marketing Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Program Participation
   • Agreement: As an affiliate you agree to participate in Community Card Affiliate’s Gift Card Marketing Program. You authorize Community Card Affiliate’s to print, market, and sell your business’s gift cards as described in the program details.
2. Commission Rate
   • Commission: A marketing commission will be applied to each gift card sale. The current marketing commission rates are specified on our website at Standard Sales Marketing Commission. As an affiliate, you agree to the marketing commission rates as outlined on the webpage and acknowledge that they may be updated periodically. You will be notified of any changes to the marketing commission rates at least 30 days in advance, either via email or through a prominent notice on our website.
3. Payment Terms
   • Settlement Payment: Payments will be made to your business based on the value of gift cards sold at the end of each month less any marketing commissions Community Card Affiliates. Payments will be processed and distributed on the 15th day after the end of each month.
4. Gift Card Details
   • Issuance: The gift cards will be issued by Community Card Affiliates on the behalf of your business and resold by Community Card Affiliates.
   • Redemption: Gift cards can be redeemed for merchandise or services at your business locations and on your website if applicable.
   • Delivery: Community Card Affiliates is responsible for printing, selling and delivering the gift cards to buyers.
5. Marketing and Promotion
   • Strategy: Community Card Affiliates will implement a multi-channel marketing strategy designed to maximize the exposure and sales of your gift cards. Our strategy includes:
     • Email Marketing: Regular email campaigns to our subscriber list, featuring your gift cards and special promotions.
     • Social Media Campaigns: Promoting your gift cards through our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to engage with potential customers.
     • Local Advertising: Leveraging partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to promote your gift cards.
     • Influencer Partnerships: Collaborating with local influencers to raise awareness and drive sales.
     • Content Marketing: Creating blog posts, articles, and other content to highlight the benefits of your gift cards and drive organic traffic.
   • Materials: We will provide digital marketing materials, including social media graphics and email templates, to help you promote the gift card program directly to your customers.
6. Liability and Risk
   • Liability: Your business is responsible for honoring the gift cards issued and sold through the program. Community Card Affiliates is not responsible for any issues related to the redemption of gift cards at your business.
   • Risk Mitigation: Treat gift cards like cash and ensure proper handling and security measures to prevent loss, theft, or fraud.
7. Reporting and Transparency
   • Reports: Detailed sales and redemption reports will be available through our partner portal. Access real-time data to track your performance and marketing commissions.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
   • Modifications: Community Card Affiliates reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at our discretion. Updated terms and conditions will be posted on our website at Affiliate Merchant Terms and Conditions. Changes to the terms and conditions will be communicated to participating merchants in advance.
9. Governing Law
   • Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
